Michelle is an experienced professional in the architecture and planning industry who's expertise hails from a combination of design firms, creative agencies, and start-ups. She thrives in design and strategy, user experience, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her design goal is to enhance the environments of daily life.
Academically, Michelle completed her Master of Architecture at Yale University and B.A. in Architecture with a focus on Urbanism in Developing Countries at the University of California, Berkeley where she began advocating for socioeconomic and cultural inclusivity in the built environment. Her upbringing as an Afghan-American influenced her interest in the relationship between space, identity, and social behavior.
